Hey Guys, today will be a good day!

The verse for today is,
Ephesians 6:12

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 

So often we fight against thing in the physical. We get frustrated over traffic, daily routine, relationships etc. What we forget is where the battle is, how to fight, and sometimes why we feel so defeated. We may not be in the battle at all… Let’s all realize that our battle is not against flesh and blood but as the verse says, spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. We need to be aware that our spirit can be attacked, we need to remember that there is the armor of God that we need to put on daily. So today, let’s take a stand and put on the armor of God.

Father God, we rejoice in you and your ways. Let us know you and your love in a deeper way today. We ask for forgiveness of all we’ve done lord and we pray that your mercy would fill us too so that we would forgive those who wrong us. Lord, we pray that you would show us how to put on the armor of God or if any parts of our armor are missing. Guide us in all ways Holy Spirit. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen!!!

Hey Guys, a new week has begun. Let’s all rejoice in what The Lord has for us!

The verse for today is,
Ephesians 5:11

Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 

Prior to this verse Paul was talking about improper things. He then says here that we should have nothing to do with those deeds but expose them. Sometimes we’ve made so many excuses to ourselves that something is right or okay that we simply go on committing that sin. This is why we have the Holy Spirity as He convicts our hearts of certain things at certain times that we need to work through, these fruitless deeds. So today, if you know there is something that needs to change in your life, that the Holy Spirit has been speaking to you about it, then let’s all just begin or continue to work through it with God.

Father God, we just rejoice in your love for us, I’m your ways. Use us to bless those around us in any way we can. Let us be listening and doing as the Holy Spirit directs us today. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, amen!!!

When was the last time you declared out loud “I can”? It’s not something people think to do every day. In fact, most people tend to magnify their limitations. They focus on their shortcomings. But scripture makes it plain: all things are possible to those who believe. That’s right! It is possible to see your dreams fulfilled. It is possible to overcome that obstacle. It is possible to climb to new heights. It is possible to embrace your destiny. You may not know how it will all take place. You may not have a plan, but all you have to know is that if God said that you can…you can!

Today, why don’t you begin to open yourself up to the possibility in your future by simply declaring this verse, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength?” At the stoplight, when you’re waiting in line, anytime you have a second, just quote this verse to yourself again. Let it sink down deeply into your heart. As you do, His word will transform you. Faith will rise up in your heart and will boldly embrace the blessings that He has in store for you!

Hey Guys! Today let’s take some time to hear what God wants to say to us. Let’s listen to Him and do as He asks of us.

The verses for today are,
Ephesians 4:26-27

“In your anger do not sin” : Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. 

It’s so easy to get angry. We get angry for waking up too early, not having milk for our coffee, the traffic in the morning, remarks from a work colleague or family member, our neighbors, we can even get angry at ourselves! Here Paul isn’t saying that we are not allowed to get angry but he is saying that we need to deal with our anger before it takes ahold of us, more specifically before satan takes ahold of us. Paul tells us here not to sin and to not let the sun go down while we are atill angry; meaning we need to work through whatever is angering us with a mindset that builds up rather than tears down. So today, if you are angry at someone or at yourself, how can you resolve the issue? If you are struggling to forgive them and see a solution maybe just pray for the person and God will give you a solution- Gods ways are not our ways but they are always peace-filled. 

Father God, we Thankyou for your unfailing love. We long to know you, to know your love in a deeper way Jesus. Fill us to overflowing with your word and your grace. Holy Spirit, we pray that you would guide us in all your ways today. Fill us afresh. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen!!!

Hey Guys, let’s all find a friend and pray with them and for them today! 

The verses for today are,
Ephesians 3:16-19

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. 

This passage is a prayer by Paul to the Ephesians church. This is such a powerful passage of scripture. It is all about love, the absolute immeasurable eternal love of God. Paul longs for the church, for us to grasp how wide, long, high and deep is the love of Christ. So today, let’s all read through this passage and just meditate on it (Christian mediatation is contemplation of scripture, it is chewing over a verse of passage to let the revelation come into our soul). 

Father God, we thank you for yor love, let us heaps how high, long, wide and deep your love is. Jesus we ask for forgiveness today and we pray that your grace and favour is upon us throughout this day. Holy Spirit we ask for guidance in all your ways. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen!!!

Hey Guys, Nothing is ever free, everything Costs someone Something. So today let’s all remember what our Salvation cost God, cost his son Jesus.

The verse for today is,
Matthew 27:30

They spit on him, and took the staff and struck him on the head again and again.

First Jesus was arrested by the Jewish High Priests who after they condemned Jesus, they spat on Him and beat Him. Next came Pilates judgement for Jesus to be excecuted, after the order Jesus was flogged with a razor sharp whip. From here Jesus was taken to be held by a troop of guard before He was to be crucified, this is where he was beaten further, spat on and also received the crown of thorns that was forced onto His head. Finally He was crucified. Jesus, an innocent man, the son of God, did this, took this punishment for our sins, for us. His death and resurrection mean Salvation for us who believe in Him. So today, let’s remember just what it cost Jesus to give us salvation.

Father God, we rejoice in your Holy ways lord!! Let us know you more and more each day. Father, today let us remember the extent of the sacrifice your son made for us. In Jesus mighty name. Amen!!
